ROCHESTER, NY — PEKO Precision Products, Inc., a multi-faceted advanced center for technology development and hardware commercialization, has become a strategic partner of Scale For ClimateTech, working with innovators to address the climate crisis. Under the sponsorship, PEKO is one of the vetted mentors available as a resource for growth-stage climate tech innovators as they work to get their renewable hardware products to market.

The innovators participating in the Scale For ClimateTech accelerator program are all developing processes, products, or services that reduce harmful environmental impacts, including greenhouse gas emissions. Participating companies must also demonstrate a benefit to New York State, where PEKO is headquartered.

PEKO will help innovators by providing technical support, which is needed throughout the manufacturing process to move products from prototype into mass production and get them to market faster, which can include:

  • Early design for manufacturing (DFM)
  • Prototype refinement
  • Manufacturing planning
  • Third-party testing and certification
  • Logistics
  • And more

“Contract manufacturers like PEKO are important assets in our innovation eco-system for helping to bring new products to market that can make a difference in improving the climate for everyone in New York State,” said Mike Riedlinger, Managing Director of the Scale For ClimateTech Program.

“We’re excited to be part of the innovative changes that will help drive a sustainable future globally while supporting manufacturing locally,” said NPI Manager Mark Frosino. “By helping climate innovators navigate the manufacturing process and overcome obstacles to scaling their business, we hope to bridge the gap between ideas and products to help companies accelerate market breakthrough technology and solve climate issues.”
